Tips on Buying a DIGITAL CAMERA

Skill in photography is acquired by practice and not by purchase.         -Percy W. Harris
Interested in photography? Then you should take the following things in your mind while purchasing a Digital Camera.
1.Megapixel- A camera with higher megapixels gives high quality photos but simple photography can be accomplished with a camera of 5 megapixels. It would be a waste of money to buy 8-12 megapixels camera when you just want to take some snaps for fun.
2.If you are serious into photography then SLR Digital cameras are for you. They maybe more expensive than Point and Shoot cameras. Nikon would be the best brand.
3.Zoom- While looking for the zooming capability of the camera, Optical zoom is more important than Digital zoom.
4. Anti-shake- Anti-shake prevents photos from going bad because of the shaking of hands while taking the photos.
5.Review- Don't forget to read the reviews posted by users on the camera's website. It will help you to decide whether you are going to buy a good product.
6. Battery-  Lithium Ion batteries have longer life than other batteries. You have to be careful while going to places where you may not be able to recharge them.
